Galleri
Viktoria
From the early 50ths
and to this day there has been a great expansion in
the art world. The boundaries between the different
art forms have started to scatter. Diversions between
generations have become more and more invisible.
Styles and art forms are mixed together deep and
nourishing well where you can feed your senses. This
is a golden era in which I have had the privilege to
run my gallery.
African art are a
special selection in the collections of our gallery.
It is with great pleasure and passion that I have
gathered all the pieces available and the collection
have resulted in one of the greatest in Sweden.
In the early 60ths
I meet Bengt Lindström in Paris, who introduced me to
several of the most interesting artist of its time
such as
Jorn, Appel,
Fontana, Baj,
Tapies, Clavé and many more. During the years I have
learnt to know several of our Swedish artists as well.
An artist I have introduced my self to the Swedish
market was Mauritz Karström and his art soon became a
great success. Karström tragically passed away in
2005, we remember him as a great talent and he still
lives on through his art.
Galleri
Viktoria have today cooperation’s with several
prominent Swedish artists such as Kjell Ringi, Pontus
Carle, Mats Christoffersson and our upcoming artist
from Stockholm, Anneli Nise.
